Holiday Apartments Can Micalet
Holiday Apartments Can Micalet
Situated in a prime location in Formentera, the Micalet Apartments embody a meticulous architectural renovation that seamlessly merges tradition with modernity, offering a distinctive experience for discerning guests seeking high-end accommodation and relaxation. This project has transformed the former Guest House into a contemporary residential complex that respects the Mediterranean identity and its connection with the natural environment.

The works have enhanced the services and facilities with the aim of broadening the appeal to new market segments and raising the standards of quality, safety, accessibility and sustainability, promoting the wellbeing and health of the guests.
The generational transition within the family business has driven this comprehensive enhancement, with the objective of delivering optimal comfort and quality to guests. The restoration of the traditional buildings has been undertaken with meticulous attention to preserving their essence, while introducing a new volume of flats that seamlessly integrates with the landscape. The development has resulted in a total of thirteen exclusive flats, strategically distributed to ensure privacy and well-being, with communal spaces such as a central courtyard with a swimming pool that encourage relaxation and enjoyment of Formentera’s mild climate.

The architecture features intermediate spaces that combine shaded areas and vegetation, as well as sculptural staircases that add character to the complex. Sustainable design is a key part of the project, with the use of local materials such as marés local stone, wood and reeds, and energy efficiency criteria that optimize lighting and natural ventilation.
Each residential unit has been meticulously designed to ensure optimal comfort, featuring private terraces and expansive windows that offer seamless connectivity with the outdoors. The project aims to provide a memorable experience, enhancing Formentera’s tourism offering with an exclusive, sustainable proposal that celebrates its Mediterranean character.
This refurbishment represents mipmarí’s ongoing dedication to creating architecture that is transformative, inspiring and enduring, in harmony with the landscape, culture and people.
